It doesn’t matter if you live in the city or the country you can bring a little bit of the farm into your babies room. Children seem to all love animals. One way to encourage that curiosity about animals is by decorating the nursery with a farm theme.

You can use farm crib sets to set the theme of the room and then have fun with the accessories.

This bedding collection featured in this picture is called Farm Babies bedding and it is manufactured by NOJO. The collection is done in greens accented with earth tones. The friendly farm animals take center stage on every piece of the farm babies 5 piece bedding set. The set includes a quilt, bumper, dust ruffle, fitted sheet and diaper stacker.

You can see how they used a wagon to hold toys which is both functional and decorative. They also used stuffed animals as accessories.

Another idea in keeping with the farm theme would be to use baskets to hold baby lotion and diaper rash ointment and such.

I recently saw a nursery that used this bedding called theOn The Farm bedding collection by Brandee Danielle.
This crib set is done is soft yellows and sage green. The crib quilt pictures an overall view of the farm, complete with animals, tractors and fields of corn.

The items are all trimmed in green gingham.

The window treatment I saw used was a simple straight gingham valance on a cafe rod.

The thing that made it stand out was, she bought two little toy tractors and took the ends off the cafe rod and hot glued the tractors on the end of the rod.

A perfect finishing touch for her little boy’s nursery.

While farm themed nursery crib sets may seem more suited for a boys nursery, you can find selections that allow you to use the farm theme without seeming to masculine.

The On the Farm pictured above would be a good choice of farm theme baby bedding for either sex.

This colorful set called Farm Yard
by Kimberly Grant is another example of farm baby bedding that would work for a boy or a girl.

It uses several colors of gingham and other print fabrics to portray a light-hearted farm yard.

The animals are appliquéd and the words dream, dance and laugh are printed on several of the items.

So, even if you are decorating a girls nursery, if a farm related theme is what you want, there is no reason not to choose baby farm bedding for girls, so go for it.

If you would like a farm related theme, but prefer something different, you might like something with a tractor theme like John Deere baby bedding.
