A sports theme is a fun theme for a nursery that can grow with your child from baby to preschool age and older. The choices in crib bedding to suit a sports theme are varied. Let me share a few of my favorite bedding sets.

The first set of bedding I want to share with you is the Sports Fan Crib Bedding Collection from CoCaLo Baby.

This set uses a color palette of blues, greens and browns accented with burgundy and orange and is done in various solid, textured and plaid fabrics to create a warm and fun sports theme.

Football, baseball, basketball and soccer are represented in various appliqued and embroidered designs.

This set is the Baby All Stars Crib Bedding Collection by Sumersault.

This set uses the colors red, blue, green and brown and is also a multi sports theme but it has a totally different feel to it from the one above.

Part of the different feel comes from the use of grey gingham in the crib skirt and as trim for other pieces that lightens up the whole set.

As with the other set appliques and embroidery add the sports touches and embellish all the pieces in this collection.

If you are looking for a sports based bedding set that is somewhat toned down this would be an ideal choice.

This set is the University of Alabama Crib Bedding Collection by Baby Fanatic.

If you or your husband are true blue fans you can deck out the nursery in with bedding that proudly declares you will be raising a new little fan.

There are several accessories available including the cutest little rocking chair that any sports fan has even seen.
